Workers Compensation

If you are injured as a result of an on-the-job accident, you are entitled to receive workers’ compensation benefits in Alabama as long as your employer has five or more employees.  Your employer’s workers’ compensation insurance provides wage compensation in varying amounts based upon whether you have temporary/total disability, temporary/partial disability, permanent/partial disability or permanent and total disability.  All medical expenses are also the responsibility of the employer or the insurance carrier providing coverage.
